Excursion to Château MIMI & Milestii Mici
Château Mimi is a cultural center of excellence in Moldova, a place where wine, gastronomy and Bessarabian traditions can be discovered in a new way. The tourist complex combines history with modernity, each detail carrying an energy and a hidden symbolism which characterizes the thousand-year-old culture of the land between the Prut and the Dniester.
The captivating story, rich in details, the wines chosen from local production combined with the most delicious dishes and special events brought together tens of thousands of people from around the world through the courtyard, gardens and cellars of Château Mimi.
Château Mimi is a real gem, after decades of continuous deterioration; the castle regains its splendor and sticks to its legend. During your tastings, think about its whole history, you will only be more imbued with it. It is a visit not to be missed under any circumstances. A shop is present on the site to buy bottles, but you will also find this brand in Chisinau supermarkets.

“Milestii Mici” has a collection of wines which has marked the reputation of the company on the domestic market and on the international wine scene.
In September 2002, the “MILESTII MICI” quality wine factory had the honor of presenting its collection wines in Strasbourg within the Parliamentary Assembly of the European Council. The Milestii Mici wine factory has the largest collection of wines in the world. It has approximately 2 million bottles. The inhabitants of Moldova proudly call it “The Gold Collection”. In 2005, the name of the Milestii Mici wine factory was included in the Guinness Book of Records. The Milestii Mici wine bottles stand out for their shape and the original label that mimics the map of the underground wine town.
