Between Moldova and Transnistria, Through the Sensitive Lens of Corentin Vignal
Until 4 May, the PhotoClub La Garde Marseille is organising an exhibition at the Pôle Miremont in Plan de Cuques. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a series of shots by photographer Corentin Vignal, dedicated to Moldova and Transnistria, which is one of the highlights of the event.

Though separated for over thirty years, these two territories share a deeply intertwined history and culture. Vignal goes beyond simply capturing landscapes to reveal their very essence. The exhibition journey invites visitors to explore:
– The Moldovan capital in all its facets, from tree-lined boulevards to the imposing Nativity of Christ Cathedral, a true architectural gem.
– The historic site of Orheiul Vechi and its remarkable Curchi Monastery, jewels of regional heritage.
– The unique atmosphere of Transnistrian cities, where an aesthetic inherited from the Soviet era still lingers.
His works are not just artistic images, but a declaration of love. Corentin Vignal sees something special in Moldova, and that’s what drives him to return again and again, discovering new facets of the country for himself and for the public.
