Begin your journey with a comfortable ride from Chișinău to the historic city of Soroca, on the banks of the Dniester River. This carefully designed tour combines history, architecture, living culture and unforgettable viewpoints in a single day.
Soroca Fortress
Your first stop is the impressive Soroca Fortress, a perfectly preserved medieval stronghold built by Stephen the Great and later rebuilt in stone during the reign of Petru Rareș. Learn how it protected Moldova’s eastern frontier and became one of the country’s most important defensive structures.
The Candle of Gratitude
Continue to one of Moldova’s most symbolic monuments. Climb the scenic staircase for panoramic views over the Dniester while discovering the story of this monument, built in tribute to the anonymous heroes who preserved the culture, language and history of Moldova through the generations.
Roma Hill
The journey then takes you to Roma Hill, one of the most unusual neighbourhoods in Eastern Europe, famous for its extraordinary mansions and vibrant Roma culture. Your guide shares its traditions, history and contemporary life through respectful and informative storytelling.
Along the way, enjoy the landscapes and villages of northern Moldova and the insights of your local guide.

What is the best time to visit Moldova?
Moldova can be visited all year. Spring (April–June) suits nature and sightseeing, summer (June–August) festivals and outdoor activities, autumn (September–October) the wine harvest, and winter (December–January) Christmas traditions.
