During his journey through the Republic of Moldova, Stefano Cicchini, an Italian travel vlogger, took the time to discover the unspoiled beauty and living traditions of the Cahul region. For two days, he explored places steeped in history and local culture.
One of his first stops was Maria Minciună’s gastronomic workshop, where he had the opportunity to taste local dishes, prepared according to traditional recipes passed down from generation to generation. This unique culinary workshop offered Stefano an immersion into the art of Moldovan cuisine, enriched by authentic flavors and local ingredients.
Next, Stefano went to the Museum of History and Ethnography in the village of Slobozia Mare. This museum is a real treasure trove for lovers of history and folk traditions. Through its collections of antiques, traditional costumes and interactive exhibits, the museum tells the rich and varied history of the region. Stefano particularly appreciated the attention paid to preserving local culture and involving the community in passing on its heritage.
The traveler also stayed at the guesthouse “Casa Bunicului” in the village of Pașcani. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this guesthouse offers not only warm and welcoming accommodation, but also a true immersion in Moldovan rural life. Stefano was charmed by the hospitality of the locals and the peaceful atmosphere of the village.
Finally, Stefano ended his trip by visiting the Palace of Culture of the municipality of Cahul. This iconic building is a vibrant cultural center, where artistic events and performances are regularly held. For Stefano, this visit was an opportunity to discover the cultural dynamism of Cahul, where tradition and modernity coexist harmoniously.
The vlogger noted not only the beauty of the surroundings, but also the charm of the people who live there: “I have traveled to many countries in Europe and I must admit that these places are among the most beautiful and welcoming.
