The DescOPERA festival awaits you every year, in June, in Butuceni, to enjoy the distinguished atmosphere and to savor the splendor of classical music outdoors, in the natural amphitheater of Orheiul Vechi.
During the event, you will discover the beauty of classical music in a rural area, the natural amphitheater, which is part of the Orhei cultural reserve and provides ideal sound for the symphony orchestra and the voices of opera soloists.
The DescOPERA festival is a unique way of combining opera and art in general with the opportunities offered by rural areas – savoring quality wine and discovering local gastronomy. In addition, it is a great opportunity to visit or revisit the tourist attractions of the site – the rock monastery, the local museum and the peasants’ courtyards which faithfully preserve the atmosphere of past centuries and make the life of the ancestors understood.
